Dear Prasad family,
Welcome to the 6th edition of CONNECT, Prasad’s Quarterly Newsletter—bringing you key highlights and inspiring stories from across our entities.
This quarter has been all about innovation and technology that put Prasad firmly in the spotlight. We partnered with Barco, the global leader in laser cinema, to unveil Asia’s first and the world’s largest HDR by Barco color grading suite in Chennai. Featuring a majestic 51-foot screen and India’s longest throw distance in a DI suite, this facility offers filmmakers a premium theatrical space to bring their stories alive like never before.
On the entertainment front, gaming meets cinema in Madurai! Our flagship gaming zone, Area 51, expands from Hyderabad to Madurai in partnership with Vetri Cinemas, one of the city’s most beloved cinema destinations.
While introducing new experiences, we also honored heritage. Prasad successfully executed a landmark restoration project for the National Archive of Malaysia, reaffirming our expertise in chemical restoration. Parallelly, our teams continued digitizing and restoring Indian and international classics in 8K, re-releasing them with color grading, mastering, and 5.1 sound to delight today’s audiences.
At the L V Prasad College of Media Studies, students were immersed not only in media learning but also in the art of storytelling, storyboarding, and technology—enriched by alumni who returned to inspire future creators.
Exciting Updates from Prasadz! Prasadz Mall and Gaming Centre in Hyderabad just got better! Our theatres have been renovated for an enhanced viewing experience, while the Gaming Arena now features new attractions for kids.
And that’s not all—our studios in Mumbai and Hyderabad, along with PCPL, PFL, EFX Interactive and Prasadz Mall, were buzzing with milestones and celebrations, beautifully captured in our Stories Section and Photo Gallery.
