We’re excited to bring you the second edition of CONNECT following our re-launch! With plenty to share, this issue covers highlights from January to June 2024 before we transition to quarterly updates.
These past six months have been remarkable. For the third consecutive year, we graced the red carpets at Cannes, this time for the classic screening of Shyam Benegal’s 1976 film Manthan.
In a ground-breaking achievement, Kamal Haasan’s Hey Ram (2000) became the world’s first film to be digitized and preserved in 12K.
Our very first Colorization project, with the Tamil film Parashakthi, penned by Kalaignar Karunanidhi and lasting 178 minutes, was converted from Black and White to Colour.
For the first time, Prasad Corp. forayed into the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) region partnering with the National Cinema of Armenia celebrating the 100 years of Armenian Cinema.
EFX Interactive, our VFX vertical, once again achieved TPN Gold status with TPN Plus, reinforcing our commitment to top-tier content security.
In Mumbai, Prasad Digital Film Labs proudly sponsored the inaugural Doc Film Bazaar at the 37th Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) on June 18, 2024, the first of its kind. Additionally, PDFL Hyderabad was the preferred post-production studio for major blockbusters like Hanuman (Atmos mixing) and Kalki (Dubbing).
Our students at L V Prasad College of Media Studies excelled at the 12th Chennai International Documentary and Short Film Festival, held in Chennai and won many accolades.
The Prasadz Family Centre was not to be left behind and was a hub for major entertainment activities of the city. This edition promises more happenings and happy reading.
