The spirit of tradition and festivity lit up the campus of LV Prasad College of Media Studies (LVPCMS) as students, faculty, and staff came together to celebrate Pongal with great enthusiasm and cultural flair.
Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, participants kick-started the day with the creation of a beautiful pookkalam, setting a colorful and festive tone. The celebration was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Kavitha Ganesh, CEO & Director, Mr. Rajkumar, Registrar, and Mr.Ravichandran G, Business Head, along with heads of departments and faculty members.
A highlight of the event was the preparation of the traditional sweet Pongal, which was lovingly cooked on campus and shared among all attendees. The aroma of the freshly made dish added to the festive charm, symbolizing prosperity and gratitude.
Following a hearty lunch, the grounds came alive with traditional games such as Uriyadi and Musical Chairs, drawing loud cheers and laughter. Students eagerly participated, showcasing not just their competitive spirit but also their artistic talents through music and dance performances.
