We are thrilled to announce that Prasad has been selected as the official vendor to provide manpower and setup-related infrastructure for the quality check of the digitization project under the National Film Heritage Mission (NFHM) at the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) – National Film Archive of India (NFAI) in Pune, Maharashtra.
The NFDC-NFAI has initiated an extensive project to digitize both feature and short films, aiming to preserve cinematic heritage. Prasad’s role involves providing essential manpower and state-of-the-art infrastructure for rigorous quality checks, ensuring the digitized outputs meet the highest standards.
Scope of Work
The scope of our responsibilities includes the quality check of:
- Digitized Picture & Audio
- Digital Cinema Package (DCP) Content
- Cataloguing of Filmic and Non-Filmic Collections at NFDC-NFAI
Project Milestones
Since the award date in July, our team has worked diligently to meet the tight timeline. The infrastructure, which needed to be fully operational by September 17, 2024, includes:
- Two viewing/grading theatres equipped with projectors
- Three audio QC rooms designed with acoustics
- Four workstations for final delivery QC checks
- A high-capacity server with extensive storage
- Four workstations for cataloguing staff
In just a little over a month, Prasad successfully recruited over 35 qualified professionals to meet the unique requirements of this project, setting up the complete infrastructure and making it ready for operations by September 2024.
