Chennai, August 2, 2024 – L V Prasad College of Media Studies celebrated its inaugural sports meet with an inspiring award ceremony held on the lush lawns of the Prasad Preview Theatre. The event was energized by the presence of our chief guest, Mr. Abhishek Prasad, Chief Technology Officer at Prasad Corporation, who applauded the young talents for their enthusiastic participation and outstanding achievements.
Mr. Abhishek Prasad presented medals and awards to the winners and runners-up, fostering a sense of pride and camaraderie among students. The rolling trophies were awarded to the triumphant cricket and volleyball teams, marking memorable victories. Faculty members who served as referees were also honored for their invaluable contributions to the success of the event.
In individual sports, Dhanesh (PG) clinched the Chess title, while Arun Karthik (UG) was the runner-up. Hariharan (UG) and Harish (UG) emerged victorious in both the Badminton solo and duo events, while Bala and Suraj (UG) were recognized as the runners-up. Harish (UG) and Bavan Harishvar excelled in Carrom singles, with Ashwin and Hariharan claiming the Carrom duo title.
This first-ever sports meet at L V Prasad College highlighted both talent and teamwork, marking a vibrant milestone in the college’s journey.
