We are excited to announce that Prasad Corp has been selected by the National Cinema Center of Armenia as one of its Heritage Film Restoration Partners. This prestigious collaboration marks a significant milestone in the celebrations of Armenian cinema’s 100th anniversary and the 85th anniversary of Armenian animation!
With over six decades of expertise in film preservation and restoration, Prasad Corp is honoured to restore several iconic Armenian films as part of this historic initiative. Our restoration efforts will focus on:
- “The Magic Carpet” (1948) by Lev Atamanov
- “The Congregation of Mice” (1978) by Lyudmila Sahakyants
- “The Magic Rainbow” (1979) by Elvira Avagyan
These treasured films will be meticulously restored for theatrical screenings and online access, ensuring that Armenian heritage is preserved and celebrated for future generations.
This collaboration is supported by the state program “Preservation Service of Film and Photographic Collection” and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of the Republic of Armenia. We are deeply honoured to be part of this important journey, dedicated to showcasing and preserving Armenia’s rich cinematic history.
