Dear Prasad family,

Welcome to the 5th edition of CONNECT, Prasad’s Quarterly Newsletter, bringing you key highlights and inspiring stories from across our entities.

TOI Recognizes Prasad’s Role in Legacy Film Revival – The Times of India featured Prasad for leading the legacy film re-release movement, showcasing how film negatives and prints are restored into 4K digital format for theatrical releases. The story highlighted insights from Mr. Akhil Prasad and Ms. Geetha, with classics like Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha and M. Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi among the recent restorations.

This edition also captures some of our most cherished celebrations—Founder’s Day (January 17), where we honoured the vision of our founder and recognized the dedication of our teams with performance awards, and International Women’s Day (March 8), a day of appreciation, reflection, and celebration.

The L V Prasad College of Media Studies continues to lead in nurturing creative talent—not only through classroom learning but with enriching field trips and workshops. A special highlight this quarter was the two-day masterclass by acclaimed cinematographer M.S. Prabhu, titled “Imagery – Latent & Overt”.

Our Mumbai and Hyderabad studios were abuzz this quarter, delivering full-spectrum post-production for a range of regional films. Meanwhile, our VFX team contributed to major titles like Good Bad Ugly and Odela 2, bringing cinematic visions to life frame by frame.

Exciting Updates from Prasadz! Prasadz Mall and Gaming Centre in Hyderabad just got better! Our theatres have been renovated for an enhanced viewing experience, while the Gaming Arena now features new attractions for kids.

Finally, don’t miss our Photo Gallery—a lively glimpse into employee events, internal milestones, and the joy of working together. You might just see a familiar face!

As always, it’s a pleasure to bring these stories to life. We hope you enjoy reading this edition as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Happy Reading!

– Jaya Vasant
