On December 6th, 2023, the Prasad Preview Theatre resonated with the achievements of our PG Diploma students as they gathered for their convocation ceremony. This event marked not only the culmination of their hard work, but also the diversity of skills each student brought to the table, showcased through their collaborative diploma films.
We were honored to have Mr. Ravi Varman, acclaimed Cinematographer, as our Chief Guest. His insightful words resonated deeply, emphasizing the importance of silence in storytelling and the continual quest for knowledge beyond technical expertise.
The ceremony, graced by eminent filmmakers such as Mr. Krishna, Mr. A K Boopathy, Mr. Rajdeep, Mr Moorthy, Mr Sivaraman, Mr. Venkatakrishnan, Mr. Srinivasa Bhushan & Mr. Elangovan, celebrated 25 outstanding diploma films across various categories, recognizing the technical prowess and artistic vision of our students.
Mr. Ravi Varman’s speech, steeped in his rich experience, urged students to not just learn techniques but also to cultivate a habit of reading, drawing parallels between storytelling in books and on screen.
