Prasad Corporation was honored to be a part of the AMIA Annual Conference 2024, held from December 4–6 in Milwaukee, WI. As a proud Preservation Partner of AMIA, we had the privilege of exhibiting at the event and engaging with the global archival community.
A major highlight was the conference presentation by Geethasanumathy Raghavan, VP of Operations and Head of Preservation at Prasad, who delivered an insightful session titled No Reel Left Untouched – A Case Study of 150,000 Reels on December 4. The session provided an in-depth look at large-scale film preservation efforts and the challenges of safeguarding cinematic heritage.
Throughout the conference, our team, including Mark Smirnoff, President of North America, connected with attendees at our exhibit booth, discussing film conservation, digitization, and restoration strategies. The event provided an invaluable platform for exchanging knowledge, sharing expertise, and reinforcing our commitment to preserving the past and shaping the future of cinema.
