Prasad Corporation proudly sponsored the 9th edition of the Film Preservation & Restoration Workshop India (FPRWI) 2024, held from November 7–14 in Kerala, India. Organized by the Film Heritage Foundation in collaboration with FIAF and other prestigious global institutions, this event played a crucial role in safeguarding the treasures of world cinema.
Over seven days, participants engaged in expert-led training on film, video, audio, and digital preservation. The workshop featured hands-on restoration sessions, screenings of restored classics, and insightful discussions on heritage preservation. Highlights included restored films from legendary filmmakers such as Ousmane Sembene, Pier Paolo Pasolini, and Sergei Parajanov, with participants receiving FIAF certification upon completion.
As a dedicated advocate for film preservation, Prasad Corporation was honored to be part of this initiative, engaging with visiting archives and sharing our expertise in restoration. The workshop provided an invaluable platform for learning, collaboration, and strengthening global efforts to protect cinematic heritage.
