One-Day Workshop on RED DSMC3 Cinema Line-up Engages Students at L V Prasad College of Media Studies

Chennai, December 7, 2024 – A one-day workshop on the latest RED DSMC3 Cinema Line-up was successfully conducted at the 70mm Deluxe Theatre, L V Prasad College of Media Studies, Chennai. The event, exclusively organized for students of the institution, provided an insightful deep dive into the advancements in RED Digital Cinema technology.

The session was led by Mr. Raj Peddinti, Regional Operations Manager at RED Digital Cinema, who presented a detailed overview of the latest RED cine cameras. His expertise in the field captivated students as he elaborated on technical aspects and innovations shaping contemporary cinema. Attendees actively participated in discussions, gaining clarity on various technological developments and their applications in filmmaking.

A key highlight of the workshop was the hands-on experience session with the RED DIGITAL CINEMA V-RAPTOR 8K VV DSMC3 camera. Under the guidance of Mr. S.K. Boopathy, Head of PG Diploma Cinematography at L V Prasad College of Media Studies, students explored the practical applications of high-end cinema technology. This immersive experience enabled them to gain practical knowledge in handling advanced cinematic equipment.

The workshop provided an invaluable learning opportunity for aspiring filmmakers, equipping them with the latest insights into digital cinema technology.
